2026 BATTLE OF THE BORDERS
NWTF Turkey Calling Championship
The Virginia Outdoor Sportsman Show is thrilled to be hosting the National Wild Turkey Federation's 2026 Battle of the Borders West Virginia & Virginia State Turkey Calling Championship on Saturday, August 1, 2026.
Attend this contest and learn from Virginia's best or sign up to compete. This is a NWTF Sanctioned Calling Contest and winners will earn a slot in the national championships.
The calling championship will take place in the Richmond Room.
Divisions and Entry Fee
WEST VIRGINIA - Saturday, August 1st
Poults (10 & under) - FREE
Juniors (17 & under) - FREE
Owl Hooting - $25
Gobbling - $25
Friction Open - $50
Senior Open - $50
WV State Resident Friction - $50
WV State Resident Open - $50
Onsite Registration Saturday at 9am
Pre-Registration is not required.
Contest starts at 10am
All callers must provide proof of NWTF membership. Calls will be announced prior to calling contest.
